MorphoGenesis Robot Fashion Show Merges AI Innovation with Eastern Aesthetics at Puyuan Fashion Week 2025

At the 2025 Puyuan Fashion Week, the cutting-edge fashion show “MorphoGenesis” presented a stunning fusion of robotics, digital art, and traditional Chinese culture. Spearheaded by Yimeng Yu, a digital artist and lecturer at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, in collaboration with humanoid robotics pioneer ENGINE AI, the show redefined the boundaries between technology and fashion.

Three humanoid robots served as models, wearing modular 3D-printed garments that transformed on stage. Set against an AI-generated visual backdrop and accompanied by Eastern-inspired music, the performance explored the fluidity of identity and the evolving role of AI in creative expression. ENGINE AI’s PM01 robot, with its advanced gait control and industrial-grade design, demonstrated a seamless integration of mechanical structure and fashion aesthetics.

Held at the historic Waterside Zen Hall in Puyuan Ancient Town, the show symbolized a dialogue between tradition and the future, offering a visionary glimpse into intelligent design and human-machine co-creation.
