2025 World Robot Conference: China’s Leading International Robotics Event Returns to Beijing

2025 WRC World Robot Conference: The Premier Global Event in Robotics

The 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC), approved by the State Council of China and jointly organized by the China Institute of Electronics and the World Robot Cooperation Organization, will take place in August 2025 in Beijing. This landmark event is widely regarded as the most influential and internationally integrated platform in the field of robotics.

Since its inception in 2015, the WRC has been successfully held nine times, integrating a forum, expo, competitions, and themed activities into a comprehensive global gathering. The conference has received significant support from the Chinese government, including a congratulatory letter from President Xi Jinping and on-site participation from key officials such as Li Qiang, Cai Qi, Liu He, Wan Gang, Liu Yandong, and Ma Kai.

A World-Class Robotics Event

The 2025 WRC World Robot Conference will be held at the Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering 50,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event will include:

  • Forums: Three-day main forums and over 20 specialized sub-forums, alongside grand opening and closing ceremonies. Topics will span global robotics policy, technological trends, industrial development, and cutting-edge research.

  • Exhibition Zones: Organized under a “4+C” layout:

    • 4 major zones: Industrial Robots, Humanoid Robots, Service Robots, and Special-Purpose Robots.

    • C represents the Innovation Zone, highlighting achievements in logistics robots, drones, core components, upstream and downstream robotics ecosystems, and new product launches.

    • Over 100 enterprises and research institutions will showcase more than 600 products.

  • Competitions: Four major competitions will bring together around 1,000 participants:

    • Inclusive Robot Challenge

    • BCI Brain-Controlled Robot Competition

    • Robot Application Challenge

    • Youth Robot Design Competition

  • Themed Activities: Including technical trend releases and specialized industry panels.

Showcasing the Future of Robotics

The WRC is designed to bridge research and real-world application, connecting the global robotics community through the latest scientific achievements, industrial solutions, and collaborative opportunities. It presents an ideal platform for networking among robotics companies, academic institutions, and research bodies.

Exhibit Categories Include:

  • Industrial Robots: Multi-axis and parallel robots, coordinate robots, robotic arms, industrial software and platforms, motion control systems, sensors, AGVs, machine vision systems, and precision tools.

  • Humanoid Robots: Full humanoid robots, joint modules, and core intelligent components.
