Zhuzhou Industrial Investment Group Partners with Tianyuan Institute for AI Robotic Arm and Data Labeling Initiatives

Zhuzhou Industrial Investment Group recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tianyuan Institute of Intelligent Science to jointly advance two innovative projects: the development of an AI-powered robotic arm and the expansion of a data labeling business.

AI Robotic Arm Project Accelerates Ceramic Industry Automation

This AI robotic arm initiative is led by Zhuzhou Industrial Investment Group’s subsidiary Zhicheng Company in partnership with Tianyuan Institute of Intelligent Science. Built upon Zhuzhou’s robust ceramic manufacturing foundation, the project integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, digitization, and productization into traditional industrial processes.

The robotic arm has successfully completed technical testing and can now perform critical production line tasks in ceramic glazing processes, including material loading and unloading, dip glazing, and spray glazing. This marks a significant step in the digital transformation of Zhuzhou’s traditional industries.

Scaling Data Labeling to Support AI and Digital Economy

The data labeling business, co-led by Zhicheng Company and a local security service provider, aligns with China’s national new infrastructure strategy and the growing need for digital transformation. The initiative introduces an innovative industry-education integration model, aiming to develop a scalable, market-oriented, and branded data service system.

This project will provide essential data infrastructure for AI applications and the broader digital economy, helping to bridge the talent and technology gap in intelligent data services.
